GTCC's Titan Tech features two, week-long sessions filled with fun, hands-on experiences that allow your teen to explore some of the hottest potential careers.

Students can apply and register for one or both weeks. Please note that some of the programs are not offered for both weeks.

From Pulp to Possibilities: Handmade Paper

Join us for a week of exploring handmade paper from a variety of sources and using the medium of papermaking to create works of art. This camp is open to students with any level of experience. We will focus on learning the fundamentals of paper making, inclusions, developing a composition with paper, and applications for your handmade paper. Cost: $100.

Artful Masks: Exploring Wearable Art
Visual Arts – Creative & Performing Arts – June 17-21
Join us for a week of exploring form, function, and expression using clay. This camp is open to students with any level of experience working in clay. We will focus on learning the fundamentals of hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques as well as surface design and conceptual development. Lessons will include both functional and sculptural objects. Artwork will be fired after the camp, and there will be a pick-up day scheduled for students to come and collect their finished pieces. Iron Man's Fab Lab
Welding – June 17-21 and June 24 - 28
Participants will explore the world of welding using electrical plasma. Learn basic safety protocols, MIG welding, and robotic welding programming fundamentals. On a small mild steel project, students will have fun welding using the latest technology. Students will need to have or purchase leather boots with rubber soles, jeans, as well as non-synthetic tops such as cotton or wool to participate in the Iron Man's Fab Lab. Cost: $75.

Culinary Quest: A Cooking Adventure

Can you take the heat? Experience the fun, fast-paced environment of top restaurant kitchens and food trucks as you bring out your inner chef. Join award-winning faculty who will teach the fundamentals of cooking, baking, and various techniques to whip up delicious creations with flair! Each student will receive their own chef uniform and work through step-by-step instruction in knife skills, food prep, and sanitation procedures.
