Established in Jamestown in 1958, the main campus at Guilford Technical Community College covers 257 acres and currently serves around 7,000 students daily. This campus is home to a wide array of career technical programs ranging from Culinary and Hospitality Management to Computer Technology to Health Science programs. In fall of 2018, the campus opened the state-of-the-art Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) that will house the college’s machining, welding and transportation related programs. Jamestown also offers a robust transfer program for students interested in obtaining a baccalaureate degree in a variety of fields.
The Jamestown campus is the home of GTCC’s Public Safety Training Center, where the college provides high quality pre-service and in-service training to all branches of public safety professionals.
The campus also houses the Middle College at Jamestown, a collaboration with Guilford County Schools to allow high school students to accelerate their progress towards a two-year degree.
